The School of Political Sciences was established in 1999 and admitted its first undergraduate students in 2000, followed by postgraduate students in 2006. The annual undergraduate intake is 120 students, plus special category and transfer students, determined by Greek education regulations.
The School’s academic focus is on political institutions, policymaking, and political structures, aiming to equip students with theoretical and empirical tools for analyzing societal relationships, ideologies, and decision-making processes. It promotes critical thinking and academic freedom, ensuring a democratic learning environment

THE WHY is a non-profit organisation based in Denmark that produces and distributes public media campaigns globally. Since its founding in 2004, it has reached hundreds of millions of people through 70+ broadcasters and 50+ outreach partners in over 200 countries and territories. Its mission is to ensure access to fact based information about human rights, sustainability and democracy, by making locally made documentary films freely available to new audiences, with the belief that films have the capacity to educate people on nuanced topics, and the potential to change hearts and minds.
