The project Solidarity4all is hosting a National Civil Society Participation Think Tank in France on 7th February. This event aims to promote a fruitful discussion about the Participation of Underrepresented communities with an outlook on the Future of the European Union.

The results of this discussion will inform the deliverables of our project, namely a list of recommendations for more inclusive Public Policy, that will be delivered to local, national and European decision- makers around the EU on our final event. A policy brief and a documentary will also spread these recommendations around the continent.

This is a very timely and important initiative. Civic participation and solidarity are essential pillars for building inclusive and resilient societies at local, national, and European levels.

It is encouraging to see a space where civil society, municipalities, and decision-makers can come together to co-create public policy proposals. Meaningful participation, when supported by evidence, data, and community voices, can lead to more effective and equitable policies.

I look forward to the discussions and the collective contributions toward a more participatory and supportive Europe.
